Our surveys and initial consultation are FREE of charge so that we establish the exact nature of what will be a unique cabling system precisely designed for you. In assessing the structural layout of the facility, building codes and safety and security issues, and before making any recommendations, we will consider aspects such as:
Your network will be designed by an experienced, professional designer. State-of-the-art components will be integrated with the latest thinking in specifications and requirements. Our infrastructure design experience includes large data centres, multi-building campus environments, hospitals, transport as well as many traditional office environments.
A large pre-staging area is available at the ACCL HQ in Orpington. This allows us to construct and test complex systems and networks before installation at the client location. It is at this point that interactivity and compatibility is thoroughly tested and potential installation niggles are eliminated or minimised. Clients are always welcome to attend these pre-installation test sessions
Spending time on getting things right at an early stage is a solid investment for both you and us. It is much more efficient and economically sound to test out options and to make changes to layouts at the outline stage rather than when the physical work has begun.
Right from the beginning of the project – well before a single cable has been laid – we, and you, will know exactly what the outcome of the project will be. After all, how could you recognise a job well done without knowing what to expect or when.
We make the time to understand your business priorities and to assess your current and future networking requirements. Our highly-trained professionals will explain your options and then design and build a high-quality, cost-effective cabling installation that will allow your systems to grow with your needs.
We will be honest even if it means we don’t get the job! We would rather advise what is right for you and hope you will come back.
We focus on business requirements, not product-specific platforms and our extensive range of manufacturers provides us with the independence to put forward the best value-for-money proposal.
Regardless of the size of the job, be it a small installation to complement your existing infrastructure or a new complex, international project, you will receive the same reliable, attentive service.
Planning, preparation and precision – all intended to take the risk out of your project from the outset. Each installation is managed by a dedicated Project Manager to ensure that your requirements are fully met, that site problems are minimised by a proactive approach and that any variations are properly documented and understood by the installation team.
Each element of the cabling system will be considered with painstaking accuracy so that we (and you) can be confident that your system works smoothly from day one. Paying close attention to detail - taking notice of ‘little things’ that others might overlook - means you don’t have to. It is precisely this careful and attentive modus operandi that marks us out from the competitors and our ‘work hard’ ethic means we meet challenging timescales.
All testing of fibre optic and copper cabling will be in accordance with the requirements of ISO 11801, BS EN50153 for Class D to F links and EIA/TIA Category 5e, 6, 6a and 7.
Testing of voice link cables will be in accordance with BS6701-2004. All tests will be fully recorded and documented for inclusion in the final site documentation pack.
This includes Light source on OTDR testing or both of the fibre optic cables at both 850 and 1300nm on (Multimode fibres) and 1310 and 1500nm on (Singlemode fibres).
All Categories 5e to 7 testing will be bi-directional and performed with Level III or IV testers. The test results can be made available on disk
On completion of the cabling works, ACCL will undertake cable testing to manufacturers’ specifications and industry standards.
A comprehensive documentation pack will be provided on the completion of the project. During the lifetime of the cabling system, and as changes are made to the system, both the client and ACCL’s packs are updated. A controlled document with version numbers is sent with each change to ensure continuity between issued documents
It would be a waste of your investment in a new communications installation if you did not know how to use it to its full potential. It is essential for successful system management for you to be able to operate the system with confidence.
We therefore provide training on new equipment which will save you time and money and allow you to maximise your investment in the infrastructure.
The training rooms at our HQ in Orpington are supported by AV, WiFi and training aids to provide clients with a professional environment in which ACCL will deliver appropriate and relevant training.
